Title track of CD - This instrumental song was a simple piano piece that
evolved into a synthetic/sampled piano soundscape. As I recorded it and listened, I got
the feeling of both being underwater (swimming with the dolphins) and flying above the
clouds (with the gulls). And, of course, being a gravity-dependent human, I would need
some serious lessons from both the dolphins and gulls... hence the title "Underwater
Flying Lessons". |

| Upbeat piano/synth tune with nice guitar work by Steve Deeble. I've been
asked if I'm a pool player, because of the title. Actually, the final production is not
quite true to the original inspiration for the title of this song... in a demo, the song
had a definite progressive rock sound, very much like a Tony Banks (Genesis) composition,
hence the title "Bank Shot". Tony is one of my favorite keyboardists (and also
plays a mean 12 string guitar), so I thought the title was an appropriate tribute to his
influence in my music. |
